Workshop with Chris McLeod

This workshop will focus on Level 3 and 4. Please come with your own partner stunt, double base, or group stunt to make sure you can learn the skills!

Who is Chris McLeod?

• Chris is a globally recognized leader in the cheerleading community, bringing over 20 years of experience as an athlete, coach, judge, and educator.

• With a cheerleading career that began in university and extended through a national championship win with Queens University, Chris also represented Team Canada Coed and earned a 4th place finish at the Cheerleading Worlds in the IASF Coed Level 6 division.

• Since 2009, Chris has coached across multiple levels, including high school, university (Lakehead University), and all-star. He is a Level 2 certified gymnastics instructor and spent several years coaching competitive womens' gymnastics.

• In 2011, he founded Cheer Factory Inc., an international company specializing in choreography, skill development, and coach education. Through Cheer Factory, Chris has worked with over 250 gyms in more than 45 countries, coaching and choreographing in places like Australia, Brazil, South Africa, Canada, USA, Korea, Zimbabwe, UAE, Chile, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, the UK, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Trinidad, Jamaica, Mexico and more.

• A certified ICU and Independent EP judge, Chris has judged in over a dozen countries and plays an active role supporting National Cheer Federations with scoring systems, rule development, and coach training. His commitment to professional development in cheerleading also led to the creation of The Cheer Forge (www.thecheerforge.com), an innovative online platform providing educational content, choreography resources, and support for coaches worldwide.

• Outside of cheerleading, Chris is a certified teacher and outdoor experiential educator, with a passion for youth development, entrepreneurship, and resilience-building, especially within Indigenous communities. His work over the past two decades has impacted thousands of young people, combining athletic mentorship with personal and community growth.
